Karachi Cuisine’s Grand Opening – A Great Success!

On the 24th of April, 2015, when Karachi Cuisine London Road opened its doors for the first time, we were met with an overwhelming crowd of diners waiting to be seated. Up until we closed for the night, our restaurant was bustling with activity.

Our grand opening night featured live entertainment from the Qawwalist Nadeem Saddiqui, who has studied under the legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The event was attended by radio personality Ravi Sharma, who was reporting for Lyca Radio, as well as representatives of GEO TV. We were also honoured to host the Worshipful the Mayor of Croydon Manju Shahul-Hameed, Member of Parliament Steve Reed and Councillor Maggie Mansell.

Over the course of the evening, we served over 1500 guests. Many of our guests chose to celebrate their own special occasions with us while we celebrated this great milestone! We are grateful to all those who came to show their support for Karachi Cuisine. We appreciate the patience exercised by our guests during this busy evening; it was an absolute pleasure serving you all and we hope to see you again soon!
